Discover the short films of our students in 3D Animation Cinema and Visual Effects selected and awarded at numerous festivals!

We are pleased to announce that three films made by ESMA Montreal students in 3D animation and visual effects training have won several awards as part of the 1st edition of the Montréal International Film Festival !

  • The film Abîme, directed by Angélique Champagne, Tristan Galopin, Emmanuel Guillet, David Mackay, Roukia Mari, David Emmanuel Munoz, Roxane Payment, wins the “Best Character Design” award in the Animation category!

  • The film Starcatcher, directed by Yuan Zhen Tsai, Iara Patino, Christian Ishimwe, Petr-Daniel Rechtacek, Daniel Rodriguez Aguileta and Yeon Sang Yun, wins the “Best Screenplay” award in the Animation category!

  • The film Sprinkles, directed by Jaime Ortega Castrillon, Dean Tsitsopoulos, Saul Sanchez, Yunyang Zhan and Isaac Healy, wins the “Best World Building” award in the Animation category!
